where are you belt ratting? in low sec? as Kodo already mentioned you can make way more isk going for DED sites. sure, you might find a commander in a belt if you're lucky that drops a tag (I think these go for around 35mil or something?) but the drop rate in DEDs is way better imo. and if you are in null just run the green anomalies for better ticks. the Ishtar surely is a very strong ship

Main ratting DPS comes from a set of three Sentry drones and rail guns that as I mentioned are good for a combined 500-550 DPS. Not too bad for an easy fit cruiser! Carry faction ammo for a little more punch. The hardest part about the fit are the T2 Sentries and you can use T1 Sentries in a pinch until your skills come up to scratch.
For the most part yes. The introduction of the drone damage amplifier really buffed the DPS of drone PvE ships but has meant that you need free low slots to fit them.
